Research I'm interested in and have worked on at one time or another:
The neuronal cytoskeleton, in particular the neurofilament proteins, including their use as biomarkers.
Development of computerized methods for the analysis of protein and nucleic acid sequences.
The function of Pleckstrin Homology (PH) domains and other protein modules in cell signaling and disease processes.

Check out the Brain Institute, the Department of Neuroscience, the UF College of Medicine and the University of Florida. Also here is link to free downloadable Ejournals available through UF (though you probably need a UF IP# to get this to work).
Some recent Science stuff; here is a link to our Hek 293 cell array data, building on our recent finding that these kidney derived cells surprisingly possess some neuronal attributes.
The University of Florida Graduate Program, a.k.a. the Interdisciplinary Program in Biomedical Sciences.
Links to various Hobbies and non-work (partly anyway) interests, also my Proven Lab Techniques (rubbish I came up with for a local talent show, a little plagiarised I must admit). Also the Internet Anagram Server, (a.k.a. I, Rearrangement Servant) which can produce a lot of funny anagrams from your name, boss, place of work etc. (I became Gary Shrew, Eugene Martin became Ernie Mutagen, a much more interesting name..). Finally a list of Internet Slang acronyms, always a fun topic.Curriculum Vitae (somewhat abridged)
